Thank you all for taking the time to visit the site! I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit of my story.
I'm Megan, also know as Megs to many. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and grew up in a small town on a lake about 5 minutes from the village of Brookfield. In 2016, I moved out West to Moose Jaw, SK where I spent half of my time there, while also commuting back and forth to my job in Halifax with Air Canada. I struggled being away from my family and my friends while also not having the time or energy to create and bring to life the passions I have for real estate and design. After much debate, I moved back to NS permanently in 2018 with my sweet dog Lola, and started focusing on myself and the future I would have.
After moving home, I obtained my Real Estate License in late 2018 after completing the mandatory courses and exams, which was one step closer to the entrepreneurial life I have always dreamed of having. I continue to work for Air Canada full time with the hopes that someday soon I can leave my shift work position to pursue Real Estate, Design and Content Creation full time.
I realized quickly that not only was I not fulfilled by my career, but I wasn't happy with the relationship path I was on. I met my best friend and hubby to be in 2017 while working for Air Canada and in mid 2018 we realized we were destined to be more than just friends. We are settling into our new home back in Brookfield on the water with plans to get married this summer at our home. It is truly our dream home and I can't wait to bring you along on the transformation! It's funny what happens with time!
Now, I'm so close to being on the exact career path I dream of, and to bring the opportunity to create beautiful spaces in your homes for you is so exciting for me!
The purpose of this blog is to show you that you can create beautiful spaces without spending a ton of money and you don't have be a professional. Is everything I do perfect? Not even close!! But I find happiness in simplicity and creating memories in our homes and in our décor, and if you need a little help, that's what I'm here for!
